sports short breaks in Begur - 1
Begur is a town in the region of the Baix Empordà, in Catalonia, Spain. It is well-known for its most beautiful beaches of the Costa Brava and its hills called the Begur Massif but its Romanesque settlement of Esclanyà and its coves behind its boundaries also make a unique landscape. It is also popular for its gourmet dishes and for being stylish and colourful and is often compared with Cuba towns. And thanks to its cultural link to Cuba, every September is celebrated a festival called the Fira d'Indians for 3 days. What is important to remember is that Begur is about 50 minutes by car from Gerona and 90 minutes from Barcelona.
