Ebike route across Girona’s Medieval Quarter
If you want to discover Girona, we recommend you this ebike route starting in the Medieval Quarter of the city.
You will start your ebike route in Girona’s Medieval Quarter, very close to Sant Felix church, and crossing some of the most popular streets, you will arrive to one of the most emblematic views of Girona: the houses overlooking the Onyar river. At this point we strongly suggest you to stop and take a photo because the sight is just amazing.
You will continue across the Medieval Quarter of Girona cycling along Força street (old Roman road), that will take you to one of the best preserved Jewish Quarters of Europe. After that, you will find Girona’s Cathedral, a location where a photo-stop is also a must.
Once you leave the cathedral behind, with your ebike you will follow the old extension of the Walls of Girona that will take you out of the city. The landscape will change from gray to green. You will reach Sant Daniel’s Valley, a large green area next to Girona, full of shady areas and natural fountains.
Before the whole ebike route is over, and now on your way back to Girona, you will be able to visit the Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants, one of the most emblematic examples of Romanesque construction of Catalonia and current headquarters of the Archaeological Museum of Catalonia in Girona.
