Kayaking route across Cap de Creus from Portlligat
Enjoy the purest part of Cap de Creus with this kayaking route from Portlligat, in the northern part of Costa Brava. This circular kayaking route follows the Mar d'Avall and the track will be as it follows: you will start in Portlligat beach and head north until you reach Cala Bona, leaving behind S'Alqueria beach, Cap d'en Roig, es Jonquet, Guillola Bay, Racó de l'Home, Punta es Pi, Guillola beach, Punta de Coder and Cala Seca. This route includes caves and different rocky formations, characteristic and representative elements of Cap de Creus. Besides, this kayaking route includes a break half way in order to rest and, given the environment, do some snorkelling (equipment included). Conditions of Kayaking route across Cap de Creus from Portlligat
You must know how to swim in order to do this activity.
Also, you must be over 13 years old or measure 145cm (underaged children will need to be accompanied by an adult).
In order to confirm that the activity can be done, a minimum group of 8 people (already arranged) is needed during low season (from October to May) and of 6 during high season (from June to September). The maximum number of people in both cases is 12.
The price of this activity includes two certified guides, a support boat that will follow the kayaks, sea kayaks (closed and individuals), the oars, the life vests and security helmets.
It also includes the whole equipment needed to snorkel. A basic explanation of the rowing technique will be done before the beginning of the activity so that everybody is able to finish the trip without difficulties.

You will depart from Portlligat beach. It's a round trip. This activity takes half a day (3h30). Its difficulty is low and it is perfectly suited for unexperienced people. 6,5km are sailed (3,5 nautical miles). We recommend you to bring:
- swimsuit, sun screen and a cap (during summer)
- T-shirt and appropiate footwear for water sports
- sun glasses
- some drinks to keep you hydrated and something light to eat (optional)
