Canyoning in Northern Catalonia
Canyoning is an aquatic activity, that consists of travelling the watercourse of a mountain ravine with the help of different techniques such as walking, climbing, jumping, abseiling and/or swimming.
All of these techniques that will help you progress through the canyon will be properly explained and supervised by certified professionals. They will constantly lead the group.
Canyoning activities usually take all day and once you are finished, you will be rewarded with a snack. All the photos taken during the activity will also be given to you.
Here you've got a list of the main canyons that you can do, all of them for beginners and in Céret (France):
An easy canyon (difficulty 2 on a scale of 5), without any relevant difficulty. It's one of the best canyons if you want to initiate yourself into canyoning, or you want to do it with your family and with kids (always over 12 and accompanied by their parents).
2) Mas Calsam
A medium level canyon (difficulty 3 on a scale of 5), suitable for everybody. There are lots of abseils, jumps and natural slides. It's perfect if you want to do it during spring because the river flow is greater.
3) Les Anelles
A medium level canyon (difficulty 3 on a scale of 5), suitable for everybody. There are lots of abseils, jumps and spectacular natural slides.
Please, use the 'comments' field that you will find during your booking process to let us know which ravine you prefer to do.
